Industry's First Piezo Ink Jet Printer for Continuous Forms
With the implementation of Piezo ink jet technology in the new T3016
industrial ink jet printer, TallyGenicom revolutionizes the world of bar code,
labels and forms printing. At 2000 CPS (characters per second), the
equivalent of 600 lines per minute or 16 pages per minute, the Tally T3016
delivers the speed of a line matrix printer for the price of a serial matrix
printer.
The T3016 represents a true breakthrough in continuous forms printing. For
the first time, laser quality and quiet operation are joined with high
speed, high reliability and paper handling versatility. This is the result
of combining leading-edge Piezo ink jet technology with a proven Tally
industrial-strength printing platform.
High Speed and Low-Cost Operation a Winning Combination
With overall throughput of 1000 pages per hour, the T3016 is up to three
times faster than comparably priced impact printers. Engineered for
industrial use, the Tally T3016 handles workloads of up to 60,000 pages per
month at an economical cost.
Piezo Inkjet Technology
Ink is packaged in easy-to-replace 40 million-character ink cartridges.
TallyGenicom's proprietary oil-based ink produces dark, high-quality images which
dry to permanence in less than one second. The industrial-strength Piezo
printhead has a 3 billion-character life for long-term, reliable operation.
Fully Featured
The Tally T3016 printer boasts multiple input paper paths, 360 DPI print
resolution and extremely quiet 49 dB(A) operation. It supports Epson LQ2550,
Epson LQ2170 and IBM Proprinter XL24e emulations, and the availability of
Ethernet 10/100BaseT connectivity enables high-speed performance in
demanding network environments.
Superior Forms Versatility
Many applications require forms flexibility, such as loading a label on one
tractor and a report form or single part invoice on another. The T3016
features a front input tractor and single sheet insertion as standard, and a
second front tractor as an option. A straight paper path on both tractors
enables printing on a wide range of media from recycled paper to heavy
stock. Later this year, the T3016 will offer a third rear tractor
for even greater versatility. A dual-bin sheet feeder is currently available with a
combined input capacity of approximately 400 sheets, as well as a paper
cutter with a 1 million cut life. Key applications include printing of bar
codes, labels, waybills, invoices, airline tickets or retail tags.
